Certified quality and environmental management
Quality management according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015
Our quality claim is to design all processes in the company in such a way that they are implemented with the highest quality, high efficiency and reliability in day-to-day business. In addition, we focus strongly on the annual degree of innovation of newly developed products and their successful commercialization. Interlinked processes and the organization of interfaces that involve customers and suppliers are also of great importance here. All performance processes are designed for systematic quality management, in which prevention, early detection and early warning play a key role. The focus here is on avoiding errors and identifying weak points at an early stage.
To ensure the right quality, we document continuous tests and measurements, evaluate and define measures:
- Incoming goods inspections of packaging materials, raw materials and accessories
- Worker inspections within the production, filling and packaging processes
- Data comparison with defined specification parameters (customer specifications)
As an indirect supplier to the automotive industry, we take into account customer-specific requirements in accordance with IATF 16949:2016 and implement these in our daily routine. The internationally applicable standard for automotive manufacturers and suppliers (Tier 1) is based on the structures and requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and supplements it with additional, customer-specific requirements from the respective manufacturers.

Environmental management according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015
A specific requirement of ISO 14001 is that of a “life cycle approach”, i.e. controlling or influencing the way in which the organization’s products and services are developed, produced, distributed, consumed and disposed of. Within the certified environmental management system, we at Dr.Stöcker have determined the environmental aspects of our activities, products and services that we can control and influence, as well as the environmental impacts associated with them, taking into account the life cycle. In line with the life cycle approach, Dr.Stöcker has established appropriate control measures to ensure that
- the environmental requirements are considered in the development process for our products or services, taking into account each stage of the life cycle;
- the environmental requirements are determined for the procurement of products and services;
- the key environmental requirements are communicated to our external suppliers, including contractors;
- the need to provide information on potential significant environmental impacts associated with the transportation or delivery, use, end-of-life treatment and final disposal of products and services is considered.
To implement these specific requirements, Dr.Stöcker has defined a strategy for the sustainable handling of products in addition to the principles described in the corporate policy. This strategy is described under sustainability and is based on our business processes from the use of raw materials to disposal.

HSSE
HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) management ensures that legal requirements relating to health, occupational safety and personal and environmental protection are implemented. For this reason, safety is a high priority for our business activities. Safety measures have been installed in our operations with the aim of avoiding both health hazards for employees and environmental pollution. Preventive activities, for example during the planning of processes in production, filling, packaging, storage and shipping, play a decisive role – also for Plant 2, which deals with the safety-relevant product “tire inflation systems” for the automotive and motorcycle industry/trade.
